The True TUC-27-HC~SPEC1 Spec Series® undercounter maintains cabinet temperatures at a set level between 33 and 38 degrees Fahrenheit and uses guided airflow to provide uniform product temperatures. For energy efficiency, the electronically commutated fan motors reduce energy consumption and heat production, while environmentally friendly R290 hydrocarbon refrigerant flows through the capillary tube system. For condenser maintenance, the cabinet back slides out.

Each time the compressor turns on, the fan motor blows air in a reverse direction to remove settled dirt and dust from the condensing coil to improve its efficiency. This automatic mechanism can help reduce the coil's energy use and lengthen the unit's lifespan. To ensure the coil and its components are operating correctly over time, regular preventive maintenance should be implemented alongside this technology.

The True TUC-27-HC~SPEC1 undercounter refrigerator measures 36 inches in height and is designed to fit underneath counters. It has a heavy-duty stainless steel exterior and stainless steel interior that can be wiped clean. Inside, the shelf support material matches the cabinet interior, and the two shelves are adjustable in increments of ¹⁄₂ inch. When cleaning, staff members can remove the shelves and wipe debris out of the rounded floor corners, while castors enable the refrigerator to be rolled out of place for sweeping the floor below.
