True Refrigeration TUC-24F-HC Description
The True TUC-24F-HC undercounter freezer has stainless steel top, sides, and front for heavy use. Its back is finished in aluminum, and its interior is lined with clear-coat aluminum to resist corrosion. Since its coved corners prevent debris from getting stuck, the stainless steel floor simplifies cleaning. Product sits on two adjustable, PVC-coated wire shelves. To access products, the door has a 12-inch, permanent handle, and magnetic gaskets hold cold air in the cabinet.
The capillary tube system controls the flow of R290 hydrocarbon refrigerant, maintaining -10 degrees Fahrenheit for storing frozen food and ice cream. To resist corrosion, the evaporator is epoxy coated while condenser and evaporator fan motors move a consistent volume of air to ensure the entire unit is cooled evenly. Its defrost system is automatic, turning on at a designated time, and the True TUC-24F-HC undercounter freezer has a rear-accessible condensing unit.
To help increase the unit's lifespan and improve condensing coil performance, the condensing fan motor blows in reverse for 20 seconds when the compressor starts up. With a cleaner surface, the coil can operate more efficiently, keeping products cool with less energy usage. Preventive maintenance should be incorporated alongside this function to monitor the coil's performance.
