The True TSSU-36-08-HC~SPEC3 sandwich and salad prep table is constructed of stainless steel and made to hold classic sandwich and salad ingredients, enabling operators to quickly construct sandwiches to order. Its refrigeration system works to keep the inside of its two cabinets and the food pans at the top of the prep table at a set temperature ranging between 33 and 41 degrees Fahrenheit. This system uses eco-friendly R290 hydrocarbon refrigerant, which is energy efficient and works to reduce environmental impact. The table sits on four castors, providing mobility and making it simple for one person to maneuver the unit around a kitchen. Once a desired location is reached, two of the castors can be locked for added stability during use.

The 8 sixth-size food pans included with the unit constructed of clear polycarbonate and designed to fit into a refrigerated opening in the top of the prep table. Each pan measures 6 7⁄8 inches long by 6 1⁄4 inches wide by 4 inches deep and is intended to keep ingredients close at hand. The pans are protected by an insulated cover made of stainless steel, preserving the freshness of the food while holding in cold air.

Its base cabinet has two sections and two doors, each of which features 12-inch wide recessed handle with a squat profile. The base holds four PVC-coated wire shelves designed to hold extra food pans or chilled plates; these shelves can be adjusted in 1⁄2-inch increments. The prep table's condensing unit is accessible from the back and its evaporator is coated in epoxy to add corrosion resistance.
