True Refrigeration TS-49F-HC Description
The True TS-49F-HC two-section freezer has six adjustable, PVC-coated shelves to organize product and LED lights to illuminate the interior. Its doors open comfortably with their 12-inch recessed handles, and gaskets around the doors prevent cold-air leaks. Polyurethane insulation in the walls retains cold air, while structure is provided by the steel frame rail. To resist rust, scratches, and dents, this refrigerator's exterior and interior are made of stainless steel.
Because the refrigeration system is mounted on the bottom, it is convenient to service, and the interior floor is raised to a comfortable height. Its capillary tube system uses R290 hydrocarbon refrigerant to keep the temperature cool, which is maintained at -10 degrees Fahrenheit. To ensure products are chilled, evaporator and condenser fans provide consistent airflow throughout the cabinet. For corrosion resistance, epoxy covers the evaporator, and to prevent frost, the system defrosts automatically. This True TS-49F-HC two-section freezer has a digital display for effortlessly monitoring the temperature.
Engineered to effectively remove debris and dust from the condenser coil, this unit's fan motor has a reverse mode that runs for 20 seconds every time it starts up. By regularly cleaning this coil, the system reduces energy consumption, promotes efficient operation, and keeps storage temperatures cold and consistent. Although this self-cleaning offers numerous benefits to the refrigeration system, it doesn’t replace True's recommendations for routine maintenance.

Very pleased with purchase
Very impressed at how quickly it recovers the temp. The compressor sounds like a beast, but usually cycles off after only a few minutes of recovery time. The unit does give off heat when running. I suspect they all do. The room I put it in is 6 by 10 and does get warm if the door is closed. Solved that with an exhaust fan (like the ones in bathrooms). Over all I am very pleased.
Quality product at an affordable price
Needed a larger freezer to store all the goods and this freezer was the perfect size. All stainless steel inside and out. Price was lower compared to many other sites. Only bad part about the freezer is the solar temperature display. If you are putting the freezer in a dark room or where the light is not on the whole time, then the solar display is not that great. You have to wait 10 seconds or so for it to display the temperature when you turn the room light on. Otherwise, there would be no issue with the display if the room is lit constantly. Also, the single bulb that is mounted high center does not provide enough lighting to the bottom of the freezer. This also depends on how well lit your room is. And the compressor/fan is a bit noisy. Other than that, there are no issues. TRUE is a well known company that puts out quality products. You can get an equivalent product for less money, but you do get what you pay for. If you want a quality product, get a TRUE. Product height while mounted on the pallet needs to be listed on manufacturers and sellers website. Needed to take the freezer off the pallet to make it fit through the door; and this had to be done outside in the rain. Product height with casters was also wrongly stated on manufacturers website.
