The True THAC-36-HC-LD horizontal open-air merchandiser is perfect for grab-and-go operations because customers can freely access products, while the unit is being durable and simple to clean. The interior features LED lights that illuminate the product for clear visibility and a stainless steel floor with three tiers to hold product. The exterior is made of steel with a baked-on black powder that will not peel.

This open-air merchandiser holds products within a temperature range of 35 to 40 degrees Fahrenheit, maintained by R290 hydrocarbon refrigerant. The refrigeration system slides out so service personnel can clean it or perform maintenance. The defrost system starts and stops on a timer to ensure the system runs properly. During the defrost cycles, the condenser fan motors change directions to keep debris and dust off the coils. The evaporator fans create a high-volume airflow that evenly cools products, creates colder temperatures, and recovers temperatures quickly after the air curtain is disrupted.

The merchandiser runs most efficiently when it is fully loaded with product. It should not be installed in an area that receives direct sunlight because it does not have a door to protect products. If the True THAC-36-HC-LD horizontal open-air merchandiser is installed near fans, vents, or doorways, the airflow will be interrupted. The machine must be placed in an environment where the relative humidity does not exceed 55 percent and the ambient temperature does not exceed 75 degrees Fahrenheit.
