Constructed primarily of durable stainless steel, the True STR1F-2HS-HC SPEC SERIES® single-section reach-in freezer withstands heavy use without retaining scratches, dents, and gouges from impact. It offers users two stainless steel Dutch doors, facilitating access to one part of the freezer at a time without releasing excess cold air. Each door has a bolt-style lock to keep the freezer's contents secure from theft, and they're designed with cam-lift hinges.

The True STR1F-2HS-HC one-section reach-in freezer is supported by four 5-inch castors, two of which have locks to ensure the unit doesn't drift or roll away while in use. Its digital display can communicate settings in Celsius or Fahrenheit format, and its refrigeration system is top mounted to ensure that hot air exhaust stays away from food zones. Operating in reverse for 20 seconds when it starts up, the condenser fan motor blows debris and dust off the coil. When this component is subjected to regular cleanings, it promotes efficient and reliable refrigeration system operation. It also reduces energy use and helps to maintain the coldest possible cabinet storage temperatures. While this self-cleaning lengthens the system's lifespan, it doesn’t take the place of routine preventative maintenance.
