The True GEM-23-LD glass end merchandiser is great for placing food and beverages on the end of aisles, checkout stations, and walls. Temperatures range from 33 to 38 degrees Fahrenheit and are maintained by environmentally friendly R290 hydrocarbon refrigerant. This refrigeration system is mounted on the bottom of the cabinet, so it can be accessed for maintenance easier than a top-mounted system. Condenser and evaporator fan motors create consistent airflow that produces less heat and uses less energy.

Upon compressor start up, the fan motor reverses direction for the first 20 seconds to rid the condensing coil of dust and dirt. When the condensing coil is properly cleaned, the unit operates with increased efficiency and reduced energy consumption. Ensuring the best results, employees should maintain the coil regularly.

The exterior of this merchandiser is white powder coated, which provides corrosion resistance and fits into most settings. A white aluminum interior liner brightens the cabinet so products are visible, and the floor in the cabinet is stainless steel to simplify cleaning. Cold air is retained since the entire cabinet has foamed-in-place polyurethane insulation. To see products without opening, the glass door is double paned with thermal insulation, and the sides are also made of glass.
