True Refrigeration GEM-23-HC~TSL01 Description
The True GEM-23-HC~TSL01 glass end merchandiser has a bottom-mounted refrigeration system, meaning it operates in the coolest area of a kitchen. This bottom-mounted system is also more accessible for maintenance than a top-mounted system, while condenser and evaporator fan motors create a consistent volume of air so heat production and energy consumption is reduced. Temperatures in the cabinet range from 33 to 38 degrees Fahrenheit with R290 hydrocarbon refrigerant.
When used alongside regular maintenance, the reverse condensing fan motor increases the unit's efficiency and lifespan. After the compressor is turned on, the fan motor reverses to reduce the accumulation of dust and debris from the condensing coil. This self-cleaning feature ensures the unit keeps stored product cold.
With a white aluminum interior and LED interior lights, the cabinet is bright so products are visible to customers. Glass sides and a double-pane glass door on the front provide product visibility, while four PVC-coated wire shelves resist corrosion and hold products. These shelves are adjustable in 1⁄2-inch increments to accommodate various product heights, and the True GEM-23-HC~TSL01 glass door merchandiser has magnetic gaskets on the door to help prevent cold air from leaking out.
