Equipex PANINI XL Description
The 14-inch by 14-inch cooking surface on this Equipex PANINI XL commercial panini press accommodates a large amount of product. Made of heavy cast iron, the platens distribute and retain heat better than aluminum or glass-ceramic. Both top and bottom platens are grooved, so they leave grill marks on the food to enhance plate presentation.
Equipped with a regulating thermostat, this Equipex PANINI XL panini press enables users to set the temperature at a level as high as 570 degrees Fahrenheit. The mode selector switch lets the user activate the heat on both plates, just the top, or just the bottom. When a mode is selected, the green light illuminates, and a red light stays on until the unit reaches the set heat level. Stainless steel utensil shelves are included with the unit, and they fit on the sides but can be removed if they are not needed.
