The top, bottom and rear are made of galvanized steel, while the interior and exterior panels are constructed of stainless steel. The two-section interior is accessed through two double-pane glass doors, which provide a clear view of stored items and self-close to retain cold air. To prevent staff injury, the exterior corners are rounded.

To provide maneuverability during transport or maintenance, the Everest Refrigeration ESGWR2 reach-in refrigerator sits atop four 5-inch swivel casters. This unit has a self-contained refrigeration system to simplify installation and has a full-length air duct system to evenly distribute air throughout the cabinet. To maintain a temperature holding range between 33 and 54 degrees Fahrenheit, this unit relies on R290 hydrocarbon refrigerant. To program desired temperatures, operators must use the multi-functional digital controls and digital display.
