To streamline item retrieval, the Everest Refrigeration ESGRH2 reach-in refrigerator is accessed through two half-height, double-pane glass doors and has shielded LED bar lighting in the cabinet to illuminate shelf items. The doors have an aluminum door frame featuring a matte finish and die-cast handles that provide a sturdy grip. The doors self-close to help lock in cool air, and these doors have magnetic door gaskets that create an airtight seal when closed. To optimize installation, the doors are equipped with field-reversible hinges. The interior and exterior of the cabinet are made of stainless steel—a dent-, corrosion-, and rust-resistant metal that can withstand the rigors of commercial use.

To provide an eco-friendly footprint, the Everest Refrigeration ESGRH2 refrigerator operates using R290 hydrocarbon refrigerant—an environmentally friendly alternative to traditional refrigerants. The refrigeration system is self-contained, top mounted, and utilizes a full-length air duct system to evenly disperse cold air throughout the cabinet. The interior offers four epoxy-coated steel wire shelves, which can be adjusted as needed using the stainless steel clips. To prevent frost accumulation in the cabinet, this unit has an auto-defrost cycle.
