The Garland UN17FC48 Polar Cuisine freezer base is equipped with a defrost timer that manages internal ice buildup to preserve steady temperatures. Its self-contained, side-mounted refrigeration system circulates R404A refrigerant to minimize kitchen heat output. Made of ABS and stainless steel, it includes two 19-inch drawers that accommodate one full-size hotel pan, while its external digital readout and electronic controls provide real-time status visibility. Measuring 48 inches wide by 32 3⁄4 inches deep by 26 3⁄16 inches high, this base sits on 6-inch adjustable legs for versatile placement.
