Garland CG-48R Description
Because of its stainless steel construction, the Garland CG-48R commercial gas griddle is resistant to denting and scratching. Beneath its plate, one 30,000-BTU U-burner is positioned every 12 inches; each burner can be operated individually to cook different food products. The plate itself is 1-inch-thick steel, which takes longer to heat than a thinner plate but retains desired temperatures more efficiently.
The Garland CG-48R griddle has 4 feet of grilling space, so it is a good fit for high-production venues such as steakhouses or sports bars. It features an electric on/off switch that can shut all the burners off at once should the need arise. Adjustable legs provide the griddle with some flexibility in regards to height, and nickel-plated guards protect the knobs from accidental adjustments as staff pass by the unit during a busy shift.
