Its dishwasher-safe mixing bowl has a 4 1⁄2-quart capacity and is large enough to accommodate the dough for eight dozen cookies at once. Users can choose from one of 10 mixing speeds ranging from a slow stir to a fast whip to achieve desired results for various tasks and recipes. Because the hub reaches 59 touchpoints with its planetary motion, its included accessories can produce thorough, consistent results.
When ingredients need to be added to the KitchenAid K45SSOB stand mixer's mixing bowl or an accessory needs to be changed out, the head can be tilted back; during mixing, the head can be locked in place.
