Used for everything that needs whipping or mixing. Love the long cord. Like the idea that it always starts on low. Works quietly and efficiently.

Careful with models, sizes

This is the lid that search found for my processor, but it's too big and has a different locking mechanism. Looks nice, though.

Ordered this as a replacement. My Canadain step-grandmother-in-law ( is there such a thing) left me her Kitchenaide 5 qt. mixer, but it was missing a few parts. Replaced with factory originals at less than half the retail price. I'm back cook in'.

Great Mixer - It Leterally Cleaned My House!

Got this for the wife for Christmas. She absolutely LOVES the buttercup color. None of our local brick & mortar stores carried the buttercup color, so she was a little worried, but it actually looks really nice. I watched a couple of youtube videos where the KitchenAid stand mixers were rough sounding and seemed to vibrate a bit. However, this one runs nice and smooth and is pretty quiet. The first gourmet thing that we whipped up was a generic box o' brownie mix. Yum. Surprisingly, they turned out better than usual--must be the thorough mixing action. OK, so how did this clean my house? Well, the wife was soooo happy to get this as a gift and she insisted that it lives on the kitchen counter (it would never get used if stored under the counter, right?). So I made her a deal--if the kitchen counters got cleared off (I'm embarrassed to admit how cluttered my kitchen was...), then she can keep it on the counter. Well, it worked. My kitchen has never been so neat, clean, and organized. And I have never had so many baked goodies in a single week. This has inspired us to bake more. Hopefully it lasts (the mixer, the cleanliness, the goodies, and the euphoric emotion). I had never heard of KaTom before placing this order. Lucky for me, Google introduced us. They had the best price on the buttercup color, and they processed and shipped the order super-fast. Smiles all around.

Excellent Italian quality. Is made in Italy and the finish is amazing. Works as expected. Little difficult to clean. Cannot be immerse in water so its kind of difficult if you are a freak about cleaning these kind of things. The supplier Katom is excellent as well. I order this three days before mothers day and I got the day before. Well pack and the cheapest price from all the suppliers I checked! Very well. Will buy from them again for sure!

Heavy Duty Parts!

Very heavy duty, does a ice job. Madelots of noodles in a short time. Decent price too. Now i'm waiting for the ravioli maker to go on sale.

Not Up to what I expect from Kitchen Aid

Sausage leaks out of screw threds even when tightened beyond hand tight. Plastic plunger is useless for stuffing sausage. The sausage pushes right around the plunger. Which is a very loose fit to the feeder tube. As a grinder the attachment is ok but as a sausage stuffer poor at best.

KitchenAid Coffee Maker

Now shopping for 3rd Coffeemaker in less than 2yrs. Love the size & the red color but 1st KitchenAid lasted less than 1 yr & current coffeemaker just quit after 10 months.

Best cup I ever lost

I used this mug every day for over years. It has been with me through 3 jobs, 6 bosses and so many all-nighters writing PR pieces that I can't count them. Each morning I would place this trusty mug in the coffee-maker and carry with me the best cup of joe a simple guy like me could ask for. Sometimes, I wouldn't drink all of the contents. This mug kept the coffee warm throughout the day so when I started crashing at 1pm, I could indulge in the bitter-sweet liquid that my lovely mug beheld. Now, I'm just left with bittersweet memories. Call it sleep deprivation, but I think I left my coffee mug (that matches my coffee maker at home) in a conference room yesterday and after re-tracing my steps, can't seem to find it. Wherever you are sweet mug, know that I love and miss you!

Awkward to use for such a big brand name

I am flummoxed by this portable mixer. First, there are no written instructions in the pamphlet about how to insert the beaters. BECAUSE, the beaters only go into their individual slots if you look hard at the diagram on the underside of the mixer. Who would know that? So, the beaters keep slipping out or don't seat right until you figure this out. Second, you have to turn it on by pushing a button to the left. Then, increase the speed with an up arrow or down with a down button. ALL while you are holding on to the mixer which is immersed in batter. What do you do with your OTHER HAND? Nothing, it seems. Everything is dependent upon the hand holding the moving mixer. I have used it about three times just because it's too late to return it to the seller. BUYER BEWARE!!

Product Coating Quality

I use the skillets daily for basic frying, sauteing etc Cleans easily except for the bottom that gets the cooked on grease like all alum. does.... I was hoping that the surface would be harder and hold up better...I use wood utensils and a fork in cooking...apparently the fork is enough to scratch the surface and that's pretty weak

Easiest pasta ever

I've been making pasta by hand for years, but with the KitchenAid pasta attachments it's all so easy and fast. Great addition for any pasta lover with a KitchenAid mixer.

I have had these attachments in the past and used them all of the time - shredded a lot of cheese and sliced potatoes. I'm looking forward to doing the same and more things in the future.

Pasta Lovers Delight!

Pasta Excellence is just that "excellent" for an experienced cook. Takes time to master making the dough and the pasta roller, but when you do, you will save time. Cutting is fast and you will experience pride every time you complete your meal. You cannot compare homemade pasta to any store bought pasta, which means the finished product is worth the time and effort. I have not used the ravioli maker yet. Can't wait to try that attachment!
