Hoshizaki KM-1601SWJ Description

The Hoshizaki KM-1601SWJ crescent cube ice machine head is ideal for establishments that require ice for soda, mixed drinks, bagging operations, and more. Hoshizaki's proprietary ice shape melts more slowly than traditional cube ice and is harder. Within a 24-hour period, the unit can produce 1,650 to 1,660 pounds of ice depending on operating air and water temperatures. The CycleSaver™ feature allows the unit to produce the same amount of ice as competitors in fewer cycles by freezing water on a two-sided evaporator. To ensure the unit runs properly, EverCheck™ technology sounds an audible alarm when problems are detected, so operators can service the machine before a malfunction occurs. Bacteria growth is slowed between cleanings thanks to the built-in H-Guard Plus™ antimicrobial agent.

The Hoshizaki KM-1601SWJ crescent cube ice machine head is cooled with water, which operates more quietly. The exterior and evaporator are constructed of stainless steel for durability, and removable panels provides accessibility to internal components for maintenance.

Note: This unit must be paired with an ice maker bin or ice dispenser.
