Hoshizaki KM-1301SAJ3/B-1500SS Description
The Hoshizaki KM-1301SAJ3/B-1500SS crescent-cube ice maker and bin are protected with H-GUARD Plus antimicrobial agent, which is designed to slow bacteria growth. So contaminants don't become trapped, the polyethylene bin has no seams, and an included scoop ensures ice is served with sanitation in mind. To prevent condensation, the bin has a pouch-style door that is sealed shut with a gasket, and upper viewing windows ensure operators can see inside the bin without having to open and close this door. Polyurethane insulation is foamed in place throughout the bin so ice doesn't melt.
If the temperature in the room where the Hoshizaki KM-1301SAJ3/B-1500SS ice maker is operating in is kept at 70 degrees Fahrenheit, it will produce as much as 1,427 pounds of ice per day. If this temperature rises, it will only produce 1,350 pounds daily. For later use, the bin holds 1,500 pounds of ice, and to ensure the unit is running properly, the EverCheck™ alert system informs users of any problems or maintenance needs. Ensuring resilience and rust resistance, he bin and the head are both made of stainless steel.
