The Hoshizaki KM-1301SAJ3/B-1150SS ice maker with bin makes 1,427 pounds of ice per day and can store 1,148 pounds of that for later use. While the bin and head are protected against bacteria with H-GUARD Plus antimicrobial, the bin is also lined with seamless polyethylene to provide sanitary storage. Ensuring employees won't stick their hands in the bin and pull out ice, it comes with a scoop for retrieval. To retain cold air, the bin is insulated with foamed-in-place polyurethane, and its door has a pouch style that reduces condensation buildup.

Because the bin on the Hoshizaki KM-1301SAJ3/B-1150SS crescent-cube ice maker and bin has view windows, employees can see how much ice is inside without opening the door. The finish of the head, bin, and 6-inch legs are made of stainless steel to resist corrosion, especially when the floor gets wet and water situates around the legs. If problems occur, the EverCheck™ alert system lets users know maintenance may be needed in the ice maker. This unit is operated with a self-contained condenser and R404A refrigerant.
