The Hoshizaki KM-1100MWJ-B-1150SS ice maker with bin produces and stores enough ice to meet an establishment's needs in a minimal footprint. Its ice maker creates as much as 1,073 pounds of ice per day in ideal atmospheric conditions. It creates crescent-style ice, which is a versatile ice type that can be either served in a soft drink or blended into a smoothie. Its condenser is self-contained and water cooled.

The Hoshizaki KM-1100MWJ-B-1150SS ice machine head and bin include a universal top kit that attaches the head to the bin. Ice can be removed from the bin through the pouch-style door, which minimizes condensate formation so water doesn't spill and create a slipping hazard around the machine. The bin interior accommodates 1,148 pounds of ice at a time and is treated with H-Guard Plus® antimicrobial agent to prevent mildew from forming and affecting the taste of ice.
