Hoshizaki F-801MWJ Description
The Hoshizaki F-801MWJ ice machine head can produce 680 pounds of ice daily, giving users sufficient amounts of product. This machine crafts flake ice, commonly used in hospitals for ice packs or grocery stores in cold-food display cases. It's water cooled, which means it can use a building's existing water supply to cool itself, requiring less electricity than air- or remote-cooled models.
The stainless steel exterior of the Hoshizaki F-801MWJ ice maker is durable to withstand dents and scratches, ensuring a lengthy service life. Its auger is also stainless steel—this gives it rust resistance, a key factor for metals that frequently contact water. The ice head has a 2-second flush cycle that activates hourly to remove any built-up sediment that might contaminate ice-making water.
Note: This unit must be paired with an ice maker bin or ice dispenser.
