The Manitowoc RFP0620A-161/D570/K00472 flake ice machine is a two-in-one unit featuring a self-contained, air-cooled ice maker head that rests atop a 532-pound-capacity ice storage bin. This unit generates hard bits of flake ice ideal for salad bars, seafood displays, smoothies and frozen drinks, or cold therapy. When incoming water is 50 degrees Fahrenheit and ambient air is 70 degrees Fahrenheit, it produces 682 pounds of flake ice in a day. While its stainless steel bearings eliminate maintenance requirements and increase reliability, its stainless steel exterior resists corrosion and simplifies cleaning.

The Manitowoc RFP0620A-161/D570/K00472 flake ice machine head can be attached to the corresponding base with the included Manitowoc K00472 30-inch B-style bin adapter. The bin measures 30 inches wide by 34 inches deep by 50 inches tall and accommodates 532 pounds of ice. A simple-to-clean polyurethane Arctic Blue bin liner is built into the interior, while the exterior is made of corrosion- and smudge-resitant DuraTech® metal. To ease ice retrieval, this unit comes with an ergonomic NSF-approved ice scoop with a built-in knuckle and thumb guard and molded retaining lip that maximizes the amount of ice that can be scooped. The insulated door is built with side grips that enable users to open the door from the center, right, or left, and once it's opened, it self-latches to remain in an open position as users retrieve ice. To stabilize on uneven or sloped flooring, its 6-inch chrome legs can be extended to 7³⁄₄ inches.
