To provide reliable ice production and convenient ice storage, the Manitowoc RFP0620A-161/D420 flake ice maker features a 22-inch-wide by 23⁶³⁄₁₀₀-inch-deep by 26-inch-tall ice machine head that rests atop a 22-inch-wide by 34-inch-deep by 50-inch tall ice bin. Great for high-traffic buffets, restaurants, smoothie bars, or medical facilities, it can produce 682 pounds of flake ice in 24 hours when air is 70 degrees Fahrenheit and incoming water is 50 degrees Fahrenheit. This ice type is ideal for food displays and salad bars because it can form around items without bruising them. It's also soft enough to be blended in smoothies and frozen beverages. Its self-contained, air-cooled condenser uses eco-friendly R290 refrigerant. To enhance reliability during high-volume use, its stainless steel bearings eliminate the need for maintenance and accommodate large loads. To match the compatible ice bin, its cabinet exterior is made of resilient, corrosion-resistant stainless steel.

The Manitowoc RFP0620A-161/D420 ice machine and bin's storage base can accommodate 383 pounds of ice and has a built-in a polyurethane Artic Blue liner. To access the bin's interior, staff can lift the door with the side grip from the left, right, or center. Once the door is open, it remains in place with its self-latching design so users can safely retrieve ice. The door's 53-degree angle creates an ergonomic entrance so users can access ice near the bin's bottom. For enhanced durability and strength, it's constructed of corrosion resistant DuraTech® metal. This unit includes an NFS-approved sanitary ice scoop with a built-in knuckle and thumb guard to ease retrieval. For consistency, the scoop can lift 5³⁄₁₀ pounds of ice.
