When air is 70 degrees Fahrenheit and incoming water is 50 degrees Fahrenheit, this unit can produce 370 pounds of flake ice in a day. This type of ice is comprised of soft, hard bits that can form around objects and secure them in place, making it an ideal choice for buffet, salad, or seafood displays, blended beverages, or cold therapy and healthcare applications. Because its air-cooled condenser is self-contained, it's simpler to install than most remote setups. For a sleek, classic appearance, its cabinet is made of heavy-duty, corrosion-resistant stainless steel. Overall, this ice maker head measures 22 inches wide by 23⁶³⁄₁₀₀ inches deep by 26 inches tall.

The Manitowoc RFP0320A/D570/K00472 flaker ice machine includes a Manitowoc K00472 D-style bin adapter for secure attachment to the Manitowoc D570 ice storage bin. This 30-inch-wide by 34-inch-deep by 50-inch-tall bin accommodates 532 pounds of ice and is built with a polyurethane Arctic Blue bin liner. Operators can simply retrieve access from the front door, which is built with side grips that allow users to lift the door from the left, right, or center. Once opened, the insulated door self-latches to secure it in an open position so employees can safely scoop ice. Because the door is angled 53 degrees, it establishes an ergonomic position that enhances access to ice stored near the bin's bottom. Staff can retrieve ice with the included ergonomic NFS-approved sanitary ice scoop, which features a built-in knuckle and thumb guard and molded retaining lip. Users can lift roughly 5³⁄₁₀ pounds of ice with each scoop. To complement the ice machine head, the bin flaunts a smudge-resistant, simple-to-clean, and corrosion-resistant DuraTech® metal exterior finish.
