The Manitowoc Ice IYP0420A/SPA162 ice maker and dispenser can produce 436 pounds of half-dice ice in 24 hours. This ice measures 0.375 in by 1.125 inches by 0.875 inch for use with soft drinks and mixed drinks. An acoustical probe measures ice before it drops into the dispenser, checking for consistent thickness.
The Manitowoc Ice IYP0420A/SPA162 ice maker and dispenser is made for hotels and resorts since it accommodates buckets under its chute. This chute prevents ice from spilling out, while the drain pan is oversized to catch more overflow than other pans. With a corrosion-resistant DuraTech exterior, the unit hides smudges.

Read the Fine Print- Hire a Pro for install!
The machine itself is nice looking and works very well! The delivery was a bit frustrating as the carrier said they were only able to drop it off curbside, which is likely no fault of Katom. This is a large and heavy machine that came in 2 packages/pallets so it was quite difficult to get it moved inside by hand. The machine itself was fairly easy to assemble, however there were no power cords or water lines included in this. We reached out for help, and the Katom chat agent explained that the "fine print" states those items are not included, so we ended up paying $800 for a local company to come and hardwire it and finish the install. Perhaps this is standard, but it was frustrating that the information wasn't made evident. We made our purchase with the help of a live chat agent (human), and there were multiple opportunities for him to clarify this with us while we made sure we were purchasing any and all components we might need to make this install easy and quick for us. Overall the machine is working well for our 60-room hotel. In the future I will do more research and read all the fine print!
