The Manitowoc Ice IDP0600W-261/SPA312-161 ice maker and dispenser is capable of creating ice, then holding it until it's ready to be used. It makes dice ice, which is relatively large and melts slower than most other types of ice. Each individual piece of ice measures 7⁄8 of an inch on all sides and is measured by a sensor probe before it's released. Over a 24-hour period, this machine can make as much as 605 pounds of ice.
