The Manitowoc Ice IDP0620W-161/SPA162 Indigo NXT™ ice maker with dispenser has a 528-pound daily production capacity. Operators can program this amount to best suit their application based on the time the unit is operational or by production volume. It makes full-cube ice, which melts slowly but is not suitable for smoothies since it does not break down well in a blender. An acoustical probe measures ice thickness, ensuring each production cycle is uniform.
Users can monitor the Manitowoc Ice IDP0620W-161/SPA162 ice machine on its touchscreen display, and the unit automatically runs 24-hour preventive maintenance. Its dispenser has a 120-pound storage capacity since it is designed to fill buckets in hotels and motels. Spilling is reduced by the dispenser’s rocking chute mechanism, and ice that spills over is caught in the oversized drip tray.
