Manitowoc Ice IDT0500W/SPA312 Description
With its 500-pound daily production capacity, the Manitowoc Ice IDT0500W-161/SPA312 Indigo NXT™ ice maker with dispenser can be used for a variety of applications. Amounts can be programmed to best suit specific operations based on the time of day or ice in the dispenser. It produces full-cube ice that melts slowly and measures 0.875 inch by 0.875 inch by 0.875 inch. This type is ideal for beverages but should not be used for smoothies since it will not break down properly. Using sound waves, an acoustical sensing probe measures the thickness of ice cubes to ensure they are consistent.
The dispenser has a 180-pound storage capacity and can fill buckets in hotels. A mechanism in the dispenser reduces spilling, and if ice overflows out of a bucket, a large drip tray catches it. This Manitowoc Ice IDT0500W-161/SPA312 ice machine with bin has a clear coating over its stainless steel exterior that provides corrosion resistance and reduces the visibility of fingerprints.
