The Manitowoc AR-20000-P Arctic Pure® Plus primary water filter assembly can filter 20,000 gallons of water over the course of its lifetime, making it ideal for cube, flake, or nugget ice machines that produce between 601 and 1,000 pounds of ice per day. For triple protection against harmful contaminants, this unit features ultra-fine filtration, a silver-impregnated carbon block, and slowly soluble polyphosphate, or SLOW PHOS®. This filter can reduce chlorine taste and smell by 95 percent so ice can taste better, smell fresher, and look clearer. Its 0.5-micron ultra-fine filtration also minimizes dirt, submicron particles, and contaminates such as giardia cysts and cryptosporidium. Its silver-impregnated carbon block slows the growth of bacteria microorganisms, algae, mold, and slime on ice machine surfaces. To inhibit scale buildup, it's engineered with SLOW PHOS.

The Manitowoc AR-20000-P water filter assembly includes a head, shroud, hardware, and mounting assembly to ease installation. This piece can be installed vertically with 2 1⁄2 inches of clearance beneath the cartridge to simplify replacement. If the unit's pressure gauge drops below 35 PSI or it has been 6 months since the cartridge has been changed, it should be replaced to uphold its efficiency. Overall, this unit has a 1.25-gallons-per-minute maximum flow rate and withstands water temperatures between 40 and 90 degrees Fahrenheit and air temperatures from 40 to 110 degrees Fahrenheit.
