This ice—smaller than full-cube ice—is sized to be used in soft drinks, blended frozen cocktails, and smoothies. In 24 hours, and in the right conditions, it can produce 513 pounds of ice. It has a self-contained, air-cooled condensing unit that doesn’t require refrigerant lines or extra water lines like remote- and water-cooled options. The ice maker's control panel and display screen are digital and programmable, enabling operators to check ice machine status or activate automatic cleaning and bin overload protection. When servicing is needed, the ice machine head's front panel is hinged for internal component access.

Sized for medium-volume storage needs, the bin of this MoTak KT-MIH-500/KT-IB-470 ice maker and bin combo has a 470-pound capacity. The interior liner is made of easy-to-clean polyethylene, while the foam insulation retains cold air and slows ice melting. LED lighting illuminates the bin interior when the lid is opened, and a scoop and scoop holder are included for convenient ice access.
