These ice cubes are smaller than full cubes, providing quicker and more thorough cooling for soft drinks and the blending of frozen drinks. In 24 hours, the ice maker head can create 361 pounds of ice in ideal conditions. It operates with an air-cooled condenser, which is the most common design as it's easier to install and service than water-cooled and remote-cooled alternatives. Unlike those designs, the air-cooled unit doesn’t require additional water lines, refrigerant lines, or connections. The ice machine has a digital control panel and display, providing operators with programmability, operating status, automatic cleaning (regular cleaning and maintenance still required), and bin overload protection.

It comes with an ice scoop and holder, which is designed for mounting above the ice line to help prevent contamination from hands reaching into ice. The bin interior is illuminated by LED lights when the door is opened, and the polyethylene interior liner streamlines cleaning because of its smooth surface. Both the head and bin have a stainless steel exterior construction, providing durability and rust resistance. Mounted on 6-inch adjustable legs, this head and bin combo unit measures 22 inches wide by 34 inches deep by 62 2⁄5 inches high.
