MoTak KT-MIF-500 Description
Ideal for medium production, the MoTak KT-MIF-500 ice maker head can produce 521 pounds of ice in 24 hours if ambient air and incoming water temperatures are ideal. It makes full-cube ice, which is ideal for serving soft drinks in casual restaurants and cocktails in bars. Its condensing unit is self-contained, meaning it's easier to install than remote-cooled options since all components are confined to the ice machine head. Because the model is air cooled instead of water cooled, it doesn't need additional connections.
The controls on this MoTak KT-MIF-500 commercial ice maker are programmable and digital, providing user-friendly operation with a display to show machine status. It comes with an automatic cleaning function and protection to help prevent bin overflow. For convenient component cleaning and servicing access, the front panel is hinged. Durable and corrosion-resistant, the exterior is stainless steel with a black trim that provides an accent to match a compatible bin. While it's easy to install, the bin must be purchased separately.
