Highly recommended

This is a great size frying pan for a small family of four. It is sturdy and somewhat heavy, does not take a lot of oil since it is a wok, it has short handles so no fear of big handle that can be hit and flippled. I was looking for these specs and finally found this pan! Very happy with it.

Nice, not as smooth as the larger sizes we've purchased

This is a good product though we found the surface a bit rougher than the larger Lodge woks we own. Perhaps in time they will wear smooth.

Deep fry delight

Great kadai

Excellent for deep-frying and stir- frying. I use this like a kadai for cooking Indian food like pakoras and puris, as well as chalupas. This shape of pan is used for deep-frying in India in order to maximize the use of the oil. Cast-iron is the metal recommended to cook with according to Ayurveda. Much healthier than aluminum and better heat distribution than stainless steel.
