To supply sturdiness, the Traulsen G20000 two-section refrigerator's front and door are made of quick-cleaning stainless steel, while its back, bottom, and top are durable galvanized steel. The interior, along with the six epoxy-coated shelves, is corrosion resistant in case of spills. LED lights shine on product for visibility, and the interior's right wall has a Load-Sure guard to ensure proper loading of product.

This Traulsen G20000 reach-in refrigerator has thick polyurethane foam in its walls, which reinforces and insulates the cabinet. Gaskets fill in gaps around the doors, reducing how much heat escapes, and the doors close by themselves to prevent product spoilage. Each door is half-size, so users can familiarize themselves with the contents in each section and only expose a small portion of the interior to the outside air. The unit can be programmed to operate at a set temperature between 34 and 38 degrees Fahrenheit, and users can monitor the settings on a microprocessor controller. Its built-in refrigeration system has a responsive thermal expansion valve. Whenever the temperature gets too hot, this valve expands to increase refrigerant flow and quickly cool down the interior.
