The Traulsen G12001 one-section reach-in freezer comes with three epoxy-coated shelves that have a wire design, utilizing gaps to promote even, complete air circulation. A guard in the cabinet also encourages air to flow through the designed path. Preventing users from storing items too close to the wall and disrupting airflow, this piece is built into the wall. Half doors on the unit separate the cabinet into smaller sections than units with one full door, minimizing cold air loss when a door is opened. The door self-closes to prevent cold air from escaping rapidly, while the stay-open feature at 120 degrees ensures loading items is convenient.
Operators can adjust the temperature in this Traulsen G12001 single-section reach-in freezer from -5 to 0 degrees Fahrenheit with microprocessor controls, and the LED display shows the temperature in Celsius or Fahrenheit. The unit uses R290 refrigerant, which is metered by a valve to achieve the desired temperature.
