The Traulsen G10003P one-section pass-thru refrigerator has an anodized aluminum interior, stainless steel exterior front, and stainless steel exterior sides. This all-metal construction makes the unit more durable than units with plastic components. It comes with three shelves in the cabinet and a guard to prevent users from affecting airflow by storing items too close to the walls.

Solid, stainless steel doors on the front and back of the cabinet provide interior access. This pass-thru design encourages users to place the refrigerator between the front and back of the house to ensure product flows conveniently to the serving area. Each door is half the size of a full door to separate the unit into sections that reduce the amount of air that flows in and out. The doors have a self-closing design, except at 120 degrees, where they stay open so users can load product.

Operators can set the temperature in this Traulsen G10003P pass-thru refrigerator to suit their application. The microprocessor controller has a temperature range between 34 and 38 degrees Fahrenheit and uses an LED display to show the interior temperature. The refrigeration components in the unit are top mounted to separate them from dirt, dust, and debris on the floor. It uses R290 refrigerant for eco-friendly cooling. A thermostatic expansion valve meters refrigerant to the evaporator coil to maintain the right temperature in the cabinet.
