The stainless steel half doors are hinged on the left side with handles on the right. Having two smaller doors instead of one large one breaks up the cabinet into sections that reduce the amount of cold air loss. These doors are self-closing, and at 120 degrees, they stay open for convenient product stocking. The door handles are made of durable metal, and their recessed design prevents protrusion into the aisle.

The unit meters R-450A refrigerant—a non-flammable synthetic option—through the thermostatic expansion valve based on the temperature in the reach-in and ambient temperature outside it. The refrigeration components are top mounted and located behind a one-piece, louvered panel. The condenser coil faces the front of the refrigerator for cleaning access.
