The Traulsen G10000 one-section reach-in refrigerator comes with three epoxy-coated shelves in the cabinet. These wire shelves have gaps that encourage uniform airflow around the stored product. Guards along the walls prevent users from storing items too close to these surfaces, freeing air circulation. LED lighting in the cabinet increases visibility so staff members can quickly find what they need. Two right-hinged half doors retain more cold air when compared to full doors, since they open in smaller sections.

The self-contained refrigeration system in the Traulsen G10000 single-section reach-in refrigerator is mounted on top of the cabinet, separating the components from dirt and dust on the floor. This makes the parts relatively inaccessible for servicing, but they are located behind a removable, one-piece louver assembly, and the condenser faces the front for convenient maintenance. The temperature in this commercial refrigerator is adjustable on the microprocessor control, with a range between 34 and 38 degrees Fahrenheit. The unit uses R290 refrigerant, which is metered by a thermostatic expansion valve to maintain the correct temperature.
