Crafted of alternating layers of VG10 and VG2 stainless steel, the Shun VG0019 utility knife uses dual-core cladding to support strength and edge retention along the entire 6-in. blade. Part of the Dual Core series, this knife features a straight blade shape suited for trimming, slicing, and light butchery. The profile tapers to a sheep’s foot tip for controlled work on the board. It's fitted with a traditional octagon-shaped handle in ebony PakkaWood®, designed to support grip stability during extended use. The smooth edge is sharpened to a 16-degree angle per side and includes a wooden sheath for safe storage.
