The Libbey 982 002 dessert spoon's (formerly known as World Tableware 982 002) Contempra® pattern uses a teardrop-shaped handle that tapers to a point for a sleek, elegant look. Highlighted with a reflective, smooth mirror finish, this unembellished piece can be incorporated into traditional or contemporary settings. Its 18/8 stainless steel construction consists of 18 percent chrome and 8 percent nickel, so it's cheaper than high-grade 18/10 flatware and more rust resistant than economical 18/0 pieces. Ideal for eating soft desserts served in bowls, such as custard and mousse, it measures 7 1⁄4 inches long overall.
