Made of aluminum, the Vollrath S4012 Wear-Ever® frying pan is responsive to temperature changes and resistant to warping. The non-stick coating improves the pan's strength and ensures food releases with ease. A handle sleeve on the pan keeps users protected from heat and withstands consistent temperatures as high as 450 degrees Fahrenheit.

Handle too heavy, or pan too light
On a 7 3/4" electric burner, the only part touching the element is the "heel" of the pan, unless I have something of weight in the pan. Anything light to med weight is cooked unevenly. The pan tilts towards the handle. The handle itself is too heavy or the pan body is too light.
