Vollrath GGHDT-36 Description
With an exterior made of stainless steel, the Vollrath GGHDT-36 heavy duty griddle resists rust and corrosion while remaining durable. Similarly, it features three stainless burners, each of which are spaced in 12-inch increments for even heating. Considering this piece of equipment emits large amounts of heat, its knobs are constructed of metal and protected by durable guards. Should line cooks notice too high or low temperatures, this can be adjusted with the thermostatic control.
The Vollrath GGHDT-36 flat top griddle sports a 1-inch-thick plate that’s polished for versatile cooking. For added char on products like burgers or cheesesteaks, it also offers adjustable flame settings. Throughout the cooking process, a 4 3⁄8-inch-tall backsplash and sloped side splashes work to contain the splattered mess while the drip tray beneath catches grease. Additionally, it sits atop four adjustable legs, comes with a gas valve and regulator, and it includes a conversion kit should users need propane access.
