In ideal conditions, the Vollrath CT4-2081000 conveyor toaster can cook 1,000 slices per hour. Its product opening is 1 1⁄2 inches tall and can accommodate three slices side by side. Because the top and bottom heat operate separately, users can toast just one or both sides of bread. Bread moves through the convection chamber on a belt and, to change the browning level, users can adjust the belt speed with a rotary dial. Fans force air all around product for efficient cooling and, after cooking, product is collected in a tray.
For slow periods, this Vollrath CT4-2081000 conveyor toaster has a standby mode that reduces energy use by 75 percent. Its quartz heating elements regain heat quickly for fast cooking and serving times. When not in use, fans cool the unit down by blowing out the hot air, while a sensor detects the heat level, ensuring complete cooldown. This toaster has low-maintenance bearings that do not need lubrications and its wiring is insulated to prevent dry rotting. Designed to withstand daily use, the exterior is constructed of aluminized steel and stainless steel.
