From bagels and buns to English muffins and sliced bread, the Vollrath CT2H-120250 horizontal conveyor toaster can be used to toast almost any type of bread, and its product opening is adjustable to accommodate these different items. The conveyor can hold two pieces of bread side by side, increasing the capacity to toast 250 slices per hour. Because the conveyor speed is variable, the operator can control how much the product is toasted—the longer an item is toasted, the darker the finished product will be. Forced convection supports uniform toasting by circulating heat throughout the chamber. During slow periods, the unit can operate in standby mode, which can reduce energy use by 75 percent.
The Vollrath CT2H-120250 commercial conveyor toaster has high-temperature thermoplastic terminal blocks that have a superior connection with a stainless steel clamp, streamlining maintenance when necessary. Its bearings and drive chain do not require lubrication, so they will not need much servicing over time. Made of stainless, aluminized steel, the unit is durable and corrosion resistant.
