In an hour, the Vollrath CT2BH-120400 horizontal conveyor toaster can produce 400 toasted bread and bun slices or bagel halves. Because the product opening is adjustable, it accommodates items with varying heights, and the toasting can be on both sides of the bread or fixed to one side. One-sided toasting is designed for buns and bagels, and it warms the side of the bread that is not being toasted. Operators have control over the conveyor speed, which determines how toasted the product gets—longer toast times result in darker toast.
To save energy, the Vollrath CT2BH-120400 countertop conveyor toaster can be set to standby mode, reducing consumption by as much as 75 percent during slow periods. This unit's high-temperature thermoplastic terminal blocks have stainless steel clamping, which provide a superior connection to improve serviceability.
