The Vollrath 7024 chiller wand is made of polycarbonate, a construction that resists chipping and cracking and withstands impact. Using this chiller wand can lower the temperature of cooked food quickly, bringing it safely through the danger zone of 40 to 140 degrees Fahrenheit without giving bacteria time to grow. This wand has a molded-in handle that provides a firm grip while stirring, and the molded-in drain hook enables hands-free draining after use.
