Vollrath 702130 Description
Featured in the Tribute® series, the Vollrath 702130 saute pan is composed of three layers. It features a conductive 3004 aluminum core and an 18/0 stainless steel exterior that's compatible with traditional electric, gas, or induction cooktops. To distribute heat evenly, its 10-inch-diameter by 2 49⁄50-inch-high cook surface is made of 18/8 stainless steel and flaunts a natural finish for even heat distribution. To ease transportation to and from the range, the pan's handle is secured to the base with EverTite™ rivets. Its handle resists temperatures as high as 600 degrees Fahrenheit to protect users hands from burns when exposed intermittently; for best use, though, users should only consistently expose its handle to temperatures as high as 450 degrees Fahrenheit to protect its integrity. Suitable for browning butter or sauteing mirepoix, this pan boasts a 3-quart capacity. It should be cleaned by hand afterwards to maintain its original appearance and quality.
