Saute Pan

Ideal for sautéing, braising, poaching, deglazing, searing and more, traditional sauté pans are round in shape and feature a wide flat bottom for heat conduction and straight high sides to contain and heat all sides of the dish being cooked. These straight high sides are helpful when deglazing as it keeps the sauce from sticking to the pan sides and burning as the sauce reduces.
