I purchased this pot at Home Goods, it cracked, why?
"I make spaghetti sauce in large amounts, \ I make home made ricotta cheese, it all cooks well, however it cracked approx. 3 inches from the top. I never knew stainless steel could do that, can you tell me why. This pot was an expensive gift I gave myself."
