"I am extremely happy with this stock pot, it has excellent quality and that is what I needed. I use it for cheesemaking as well as everyday use for our meals. This is a little high in price but you definiately get what you pay for in cookware. With that said, I am not very happy with the fact that this post is advertised as being "Made in the USA", I even talked to customer service before I bought this and they talked with Vollrath themselves who assured me that the Pot was made in the USA and the matching lid was made in Italy.....well, I got the pot and it is etched in the side of the pot as saying "MADE IN ITALY". Although I am ok with this, I feel like I was taken for a sucker because being made in the USA was what pushed me to buy this pot. Also, the weld on the handle came sharp enough to cut you on one spot (found out the hard way) so the least they could have done is grind that down a bit. My sister in law has a Polar Ware stock pot that is very comparable to this....if I would have known it was made in Italy I might have saved the money and gone with the polar ware. All in all though, I am very happy with my new pot."
