Groen HY-6SG-24 Description
The Groen HY-6SG-24 HyPlus™ pressureless steamer includes two steam compartments heated by a cabinet-mounted, gas-heated boiler in the base. Providing an atmospheric temperature of 212 degrees Fahrenheit inside the compartments, this boiler drains automatically when the unit is powered off and the water has cooled to 170 degrees Fahrenheit. Water-level sight glass enables users to monitor the water levels, while low-water sensors prevent the level from getting too low and causing internal damage.
The Groen HY-6SG-24 two-compartment steamer can accommodate six 12-inch by 20-inch by 2 1⁄2-inch pans. Sitting on top of a 24-inch wide stainless steel cabinet base, the compartments themselves are made of durable stainless steel. Field-reversible doors are equipped with continuous hinges, and the pan support racks are constructed of durable stainless steel to ease cleaning. A wide drip sink with a condensate drain underneath the compartment doors catches and drains liquid.
